Wael Arakji
Wael Arakji (born September 4, 1994) is a Lebanese basketball player who plays for the Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. He is widely considered as one of the bright young future in Lebanese basketball. Arakji declared for the NBA draft in 2015 but went undrafted. He is also known as the Goran Dragic of Asia. ==Career== Wael Arakji was a huge standout for the U18 national team in the 2012 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship in which Lebanon came 7th in the rankings. His individual performance however sparked the interests of Slobodan Subotic who at the time had been appointed as head coach in that year for Riyadi. Arakji signed for Riyadi in 2012 and played his first game in the 2012 Hariri Tournament taking place in Saida. Arakji has been considered as one of the best young talents entering the league along with team mate Ali Haidar.
